Anganwadi Kendra In Jharkhand: The Government of India runs many schemes for the citizens of the country. Most of these schemes are for the poor and needy. The Prime Minister Janjati Adivasi Nyay Maha Abhiyan will be run by the Central Government. This scheme has been started especially to improve the socio-economic conditions of the weak tribal groups.
Under this, the Jharkhand government has recently opened 91 new Anganwadi centers in the tribal dominated areas of the state. These will be opened in a total of 11 districts of the state. For which 40 percent of the expenditure will be borne by the state government, while 60 percent of the expenditure will be borne by the central government. Anganwadi centers will be opened in these districts
Under the Prime Minister Janjati Adivasi Nyay Maha Abhiyan, the tribals will get benefits in 11 districts of the state by the Jharkhand government. Anganwadis will be opened in tribal dominated areas by the central government and the state government together. These Anganwadi centres will be opened in Latehar, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Chatra, Dumka, Palamu, Jamtara, Saraikela Kharsawan, East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum.
One worker and one assistant will be appointed in each of these centres. Every year the government will spend Rs 1.64 crore on these 91 centres. According to the information given by the government, initially these Anganwadi centres will be run on rent. After this, new buildings will be constructed for Anganwadi centres. Along with this, the government in Jharkhand has also announced to provide funds for cylinder refilling in all Anganwadi centres running in the state.
These facilities will be available in Anganwadi centres
Women are given Rs. 2,500 every month in Anganwadi from birth till the age of 10 years. Apart from this, pregnant women are given 3 kg wheat and 1 kg gram dal every month. Children are given 2 kg wheat and 1 kg gram dal. Along with this, day care facility is also available for children in Anganwadi.
Working mothers can leave their children above 6 months of age here and go to work. Primary and Montessori education for children between 2 and 10 years is also arranged by Anganwadi centres. Apart from this, vaccination and health checkup facilities are also available in Anganwadi. Along with this, complete arrangement of nutritious food is also made for children in Anganwadi Centre.
